Smile Campaign - project diary

 January 11th 2021 Since the idea for my TV advert changed due to Coronavirus measures, I plan to try and film my new idea this week. As well as this, I'm planning on creating a print advert, which I still need to plan some more of. January 18th 2021 After creating footage for my new TV advert, I've decided I will just create the print advert as it didn't turn out the way I wanted and also wasn't as good as my original idea. I will spend this week making sure I have everything up to date on my blogger and will begin creating my poster.  January 25th 2021 After planning what information would go on my poster, I began to create it. After trying out different software and some not working on my laptop, I began to create my poster in Microsoft Publisher. Hopefully by the end of the week my poster will be complete and I can begin evaluating.  February 1st 2021 I fell slightly behind so this week I am still completing my poster but hope to be done soon.   Overall I think the editing process of my documentary went okay. Using iMovie I believe is quite straight forward, plus I've used it on a different project before, so I think it went well. In my opinion I think if things were different and we weren't working from home due to Covid, my documentary and the editing would've been better due to using a better program. Nevertheless, I think my documentary meets the criteria and fits the brief well.  The editing process itself -  When editing on iMovie, there aren't many actions to take. This meaning after you imported your video footage you could reorder it, add audio and transitions if needed, and that's all. While this is the case, I think the sound editing on iMovie works well as I was able to easily reorder the different sounds being used, and also fade sounds in and out - which helped   when switching from the background music to e.g.   Beatles   song.  For the editing side, I firstly inserted my scre...
